“They proved they’re a great team” — Argentina coach salutes Cape Verde

Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni has praised Cape Verde as “a great team” after his side narrowly edged them 3-2 in the World Cup Round of 32.

“A really tough match,” Scaloni said post-match. “When people say there’s no such thing as an easy opponent, today Cape Verde proved they’re a great team.” Argentina face Egypt in the Round of 16 on Tuesday, Daily Post reports.
