FAI motion to continue with Israel games passed at EGM

The FAI General Assembly has voted to proceed with the Republic of Ireland’s Nations League games against Israel. At an EGM in Aviva Stadium on Wednesday, the motion passed 75-32, with three abstentions from 114 members. This decision allows the FAI board to continue fulfilling its UEFA obligations despite public and member opposition regarding the fixtures. The FAI warns boycotting would cause significant harm and financial loss to Irish football.
