“We came with a clear game plan, and after we scored we believed we could win.
England are a top side and they found a way. We had our chances but didn’t take them.
I’m proud of the team. We fought until the very end. We also faced some very good sides to reach the quarter-finals. Of course, we would have loved to reach the semi-finals and even the final, but it’s a journey we should all be proud of.”

Martin Ødegaard: 🗣️ “We spoke briefly after the game. I congratulated B, Deccers, Noni and Ebz, and wished them luck for the rest of the tournament.
They wished me well too and said we’d given everything and that the game could have gone either way.
