The IOC has dismissed a complaint against Fifa president Gianni Infantino, stating it’s outside their ethical scope. Human rights group FairSquare lodged the complaint, citing Infantino’s alleged breach of neutrality after then-US President Trump intervened to suspend US striker Folarin Balogun’s World Cup red card. The Norwegian Football Federation is also considering a formal complaint.
