According to The Telegraph, all 55 UEFA member associations, including Azerbaijan, are ready to support the move following growing unrest over FIFA’s leadership.
The latest fallout comes after FIFA abandoned its controversial proposal to sell a minority stake in the commercial rights of the men’s and women’s World Cups and other competitions. UEFA had previously warned it would boycott FIFA competitions if the plan proceeded.

The report adds that a formal no-confidence process remains an option should Infantino decline to resign.
