Arsenal has officially launched their highly anticipated third kit for the 2025/26 season, and it's a stylish homage to their beloved former stadium, Highbury. Marking two decades since the Gunners' transition to the Emirates Stadium, this kit beautifully encapsulates the essence and memories of their historic home.
The kit's design masterfully combines an off-white engineered fabric with striking red and gold accents, drawing inspiration from the Art Deco architecture and rich heritage of Highbury. The inclusion of a crisp white polo collar, meticulously detailed cuff accents, and the retro adidas Trefoil branding gives the shirt a distinct vintage charm. The historic cannon crest proudly completes the look, adding a touch of timeless elegance.
A unique graphic of Highbury’s distinctive façade is subtly placed inside the collar, serving as a constant reminder of the stadium's significance. This thoughtful detail ensures that the spirit of Highbury remains close to the hearts of players and fans alike, even as the club continues to evolve.
Defender Jurrien Timber emphasized the kit's importance, stating, “We all know how much Highbury means to our supporters; it’s part of the club’s identity. Wearing this kit is a way of honoring that history while inspiring the next generation of Arsenal fans.”
To celebrate the launch, Arsenal and Adidas have produced a captivating short film set in a gallery space reminiscent of Highbury’s marble halls. The film presents the jersey as a timeless work of art, featuring appearances from model Kai Isaiah Jamal, rapper Pa Salieu, and Arsenal legend Freddie Ljungberg.
In a fitting tribute to the club’s legacy, current stars Riccardo Calafiori, Myles Lewis-Skelly, and Timber visited the exhibit alongside icons David Seaman and Rachel Yankey, effectively bridging the past, present, and future of Arsenal Football Club.
Now available through adidas, Arsenal’s official stores, and select global retailers, the Gunners' new third kit not only evokes a sense of nostalgia but also embodies the forward-thinking spirit of the club. It’s a kit that resonates with history while embracing the future.
