With Remiro’s contract set to expire in 2027, Barcelona believe they could secure the 30-year-old in a cut-price deal to eventually succeed veterans Wojciech Szczęsny and Marc-André ter Stegen.
Expert Carlos Monfort reported: “Deco has met in the last few hours with Álex Remiro’s entourage to find out about his contractual situation and analyse the fit of his possible signing.”
