Bayern Munich rival Premier League giants in pursuit of Marc Guehi

Bayern Munich are refusing to concede in the race to sign Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi, according to reports from journalist Florian Plettenberg, despite heavy interest from Manchester United, Liverpool, and Manchester City.

The 25-year-old England international, who helped lead Palace to a historic FA Cup and Community Shield double last year, is entering the final months of his contract and will be available for a “reasonable fee” this month or for free in the summer.

While Premier League interest remains high, the opportunity to join the Bundesliga champions could be “tempting” as the German giants look to bolster their defense, with analysts suggesting Guehi could be an “upgrade on players like Kim Min-jae.”

As United have reportedly been told to pay £60 million for an immediate transfer, Bayern must decide whether to strike now or attempt a “masterstroke” by securing his signature on a pre-contract agreement.
