Bayern Munich sources and journalist Christian Falk have dismissed reports linking 21-year-old midfielder Aleksandar Pavlovic to Chelsea, citing the player’s desire to remain at his “dream club” despite Premier League interest.
Bayern Munich has reportedly rejected claims that Chelsea contacted midfielder Aleksandar Pavlovic regarding a summer transfer.
Journalist Christian Falk revealed that the 21-year-old remains committed to his boyhood club, despite interest from Manchester City and the London side.
“Pavlovic clearly said no – Bayern is currently his absolute dream,” Falk stated, noting the player’s ambition to potentially finish his career with the German giants.
The links to Pavlovic emerge amid uncertainty surrounding Enzo Fernandez’s future at Stamford Bridge.
While Chelsea’s ownership targets young talent, Pavlovic appears uninterested in a move to England for now.
“Nothing is happening now, but as you said yourself: never say never if millions come from England,” Falk added. Chelsea must now weigh their midfield options as pressure mounts to secure a top-five finish.
