According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, five key players at Real Madrid are reportedly unhappy with manager Xabi Alonso, a list that includes midfield star Jude Bellingham.

The publication suggests that despite the England international’s “incredible contribution on the pitch,” his “dark side is his ego,” which contributes to the tension. The four other players named as dissatisfied with Alonso are Vinicius Jr, Valverde, Rodrygo, and Endrick.

The article states that the frustrations of players who are “literally full of egos could cost Xabi Alonso his job in the future.”

The report highlights that the complaints of Vinicius Jr. are frequent at Real, suggesting the club “even intend to sell him” as they “have had enough of his excesses off the pitch in the period after the 2024 Ballon d’Or award to the present.”

Despite the alleged not-so-good relationship with Bellingham, Alonso has not been afraid to publicly praise the midfielder, whom he “considers an essential link in his team.”
