Bukayo Saka becomes Arsenal’s highest earner with landmark extension

Bukayo Saka has signed a record-breaking contract extension with Arsenal until 2031, becoming the club’s top earner on a deal worth over £300,000 a week.

Arsenal have secured the long-term future of Bukayo Saka, making the 24-year-old the highest-paid player in the club’s history with a new five-year contract until 2031.

The agreement, worth in excess of £300,000 per week, sees the Hale End academy graduate commit his peak years to the Gunners.

This significant renewal follows months of negotiations and continues Mikel Arteta’s strategy of tying down key assets like William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhães.

The deal arrives as a massive boost while Arsenal leads the Premier League by four points and prepares for an EFL Cup final against Manchester City.

Reflecting on the “special relationship” between the player and the club, Mikel Arteta said: “It’s great for the club that Bukayo has extended his contract.

Retaining our best young talents is key to our continued progress and Bukayo represents such an important part of our squad.”
