The lineup for the Champions League Round of 16 is nearing completion, with twelve teams officially qualified following a high-stakes Tuesday of playoff action.
Arsenal led the automatic qualifiers after finishing a historic league phase with a perfect record, followed by Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Barcelona, Chelsea, Sporting CP, and Manchester City.
Joining them from the knockout playoffs are Atlético Madrid, who advanced behind an Alexander Sørloth hat-trick, and Bodø/Glimt, who authored the night’s biggest upset by eliminating Inter 5–2 on aggregate.
Bayer Leverkusen progressed after a professional goalless draw with Olympiacos, while Newcastle United completed a dominant 9–1 aggregate rout of Qarabağ.
