Cole Palmer has dismissed transfer speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United after netting a clinical hat-trick in Chelsea’s 3-1 win over Wolves.
Chelsea talisman Cole Palmer has branded transfer rumors linking him to Manchester United as “rubbish” following his spectacular hat-trick against Wolves.
After netting twice from the spot at Molineux, Palmer signaled his defiance by abandoning his usual celebration to cover his ears.
The England international remains committed to the Blues under manager Liam Rosenior despite ongoing speculation regarding a return to his boyhood city.
”Everyone loves to chat rubbish, don’t they? I don’t pay too much attention to it,” Palmer stated.
While his season has been hampered by injury, the midfielder credited Rosenior for his resurgence, adding: “Life under Liam is amazing, he gives us all confidence.”
Despite admitting he is not yet 100% fit, Palmer’s performance suggests he remains the focal point of Chelsea’s long-term project.
