AC Milan’s primary fan group, Curva Sud, has organized a rally at Milanello to support the team after the Prefecture of Naples banned Lombardy-based supporters from attending Monday’s high-stakes fixture.
The Curva Sud has slammed the Prefecture of Naples’ decision to ban Milan fans residing in Lombardy from attending the upcoming match at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
Citing “high risk profiles for public order and safety,” authorities blocked away travel, forcing fans to cancel dozens of buses and lose deposits.
The group labeled the move “another crazy decision, made without any logic” by incapable institutions.
In response to the exclusion, the fans have called for a mass gathering at Milanello this Saturday at 10:30 AM to cheer on the squad before their departure.
The group remains frustrated that years of peaceful travel are being ignored, stating they are “forced to stay home” while the team is “left to fend for itself” during a crucial period in the season.
