Deel replaces Visit Rwanda as Arsenal’s sleeve sponsor from 2026-27 season

Arsenal has agreed a major shirt-sleeve sponsorship deal with global HR platform Deel, replacing the controversial Visit Rwanda partnership that is set to expire after eight years.

Arsenal has secured a new multi-year partnership with the global payroll and HR platform Deel, which is set to become the club’s new shirt-sleeve sponsor next season.

This agreement finalizes the North London club’s long search for a replacement as the previous eight-year deal with the “Visit Rwanda” tourism board concludes.

Deel’s branding will feature prominently on the matchday kit, representing the latest step in strengthening the club’s commercial revenues.

The new sponsorship follows a decision by Arsenal to end its partnership with the Rwanda Development Board, a deal that began in 2018 and was valued at approximately £10 million annually.

The former sponsorship had increasingly drawn fan scrutiny and political pressure regarding the associated government’s actions.

The decision was welcomed, with reports noting “overwhelming support for moving on from the Rwanda agreement” among fan groups.

Arsenal’s Chief Commercial Officer, Juliet Slot, confirmed the club’s excitement over the new partner, stating:

“We’re delighted to welcome Deel to our Arsenal family – a brilliant and innovative team who will bring so much to what we’re trying to achieve at our club.”

Slot added that Deel’s “global platform matches the scale of our ambition and operations, and their investment will continue to power our growth
