Following the departure of Thiago Motta, Italiano was tasked with maintaining the Rossoblù’s competitive edge while competing in the Champions League.
Di Vaio emphasized that the coach’s willingness to implement a proactive style of play has been fundamental in keeping the squad motivated despite the heavy fixture list.
The director highlighted the importance of stability and the club’s long-term project during a recent media briefing.
He noted that the integration of new summer signings has required patience, but the internal belief in Italiano remains unshaken.
