With only nine games remaining to secure a top-five finish, Szoboszlai emphasized the need for a performance shift.
“I feel that we didn’t play in a way like we should and we can,” the Hungarian midfielder told the club’s official website.
Manager Arne Slot echoed the need for high standards, noting that while the Premier League title is out of reach, the Reds remain competitive in two cup competitions.
Szoboszlai remains focused on the task at hand despite Tottenham’s relegation battle, stating, “We want to play next year in the Champions League, so there is a spot to go for.”
