March 16 – The Belgian Gaming Commission has launched an investigation into former Chelsea player Eden Hazard after he partnered with Stake as a brand ambassador in a deal that was announced last week.
Stake, one of the fastest-growing companies within the gambling and casino world, offers sports betting markets, including the Belgian football league, and online casino games, but is not licensed in Belgium. If Hazard targets the Belgian market in his role, he may be violating the law.
