Edu Gasper told to stay away from club by Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest’s global head of football Edu Gaspar has been barred from club facilities as his troubled eight-month stint at the City Ground reaches an inevitable end.

Nottingham Forest have reportedly instructed Edu Gaspar, the club’s global head of football, to stay away from the training ground and stadium as his departure nears.

The former Arsenal director has missed three consecutive matches, including Wednesday’s draw with Manchester City.

Despite the turmoil, Forest officials maintain he is working as normal, though his eight-month tenure has been marred by high managerial turnover.

The Brazilian’s role has become increasingly difficult following a series of poor signings and falling out with former managers.

Ex-boss Sean Dyche recently criticized the club’s decision-making, stating, “on factual data and analysis, I can’t understand any of the decisions that were made.”

With Forest sitting 17th and battling relegation, Edu’s exit is now expected to be finalized before the current season concludes.
