Following Liverpool’s 3-3 draw with Leeds, Mohamed Salah gave an explosive interview claiming he was “thrown under the bus” by the club, leading to widespread criticism that his public comments were “embarrassing” and “disrespectful.”
Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has faced heavy criticism for his explosive post-match interview following the 3-3 draw with Leeds United, where he was an unused substitute.
The forward claimed he was “thrown under the bus” by the club, adding that his relationship with manager Arne Slot was broken.
He stated, “I said many times before that I had a good relationship with the manager, and all of a sudden we don’t have any relationship.”
Pundits, including former Celtic striker Chris Sutton, slammed Salah’s public outburst as “embarrassing” and “disrespectful” to his teammates.
Sutton believes the forward’s reaction to being benched for the third consecutive match was poorly judged.
Salah further fueled speculation about his future, saying, “I don’t know why but it seems to me, how I see it, that someone doesn’t want me in the club.”
