FIFA World Cup 2026: Last-minute ticket sales and resale marketplace details

FIFA has announced that the final “Last-Minute Sales Phase” for the 2026 World Cup will begin on April 1, offering tickets on a first-come, first-served basis through its official digital platform.

The final opportunity for fans to secure seats for the 2026 FIFA World Cup opens Wednesday, April 1, at 10 a.m. CT.

Unlike previous lottery-based draws, this phase allows supporters to select specific seats directly from a digital map.

Tickets will be released on a rolling basis via FIFA.com/tickets, with cumulative attendance records from the 1994 tournament expected to be surpassed during this edition.

In addition to direct sales, FIFA will reopen its official Resale/Exchange Marketplace on April 2.

This platform provides a “secure and authorized environment” for ticket holders to trade seats.

Organizers emphasize that match tickets do not guarantee entry into the United States, Mexico, or Canada, urging international fans to apply for necessary visas immediately to account for lengthy government processing times.
