Manchester United interim head coach Michael Carrick has confirmed several key absences, including Mason Mount and Matthijs de Ligt, ahead of Tuesday’s Premier League clash against West Ham United.
Manchester United travel to West Ham seeking a fifth consecutive victory under interim boss Michael Carrick.
Despite an impressive run against top rivals, United face significant availability issues. Mason Mount is confirmed out for the trip, while Matthijs de Ligt remains sidelined with a long-term back injury.
Carrick noted: “Mason will probably not be available for Tuesday, likely after, but definitely going into the Everton game he’ll be back.”
West Ham remain in the relegation zone but have recently found form, winning three of their last four matches.
Hammers boss Nuno Espirito Santo remained tight-lipped regarding his own squad fitness, while United continue to monitor Patrick Dorgu’s thigh injury.
Discussing De Ligt’s slow recovery, Carrick added: “The Everton game feels a long way off at the moment, so we’ll see how he progresses.”
