Former French international Franck Ribery has appeared in newly released Department of Justice documents linked to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation, though authorities stress his inclusion implies no criminal wrongdoing.
Recent United States Department of Justice filings connected to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation have identified former Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery.
Named on page 26 of the massive disclosure, Ribery is among numerous public figures mentioned in millions of pages of investigative material.
US authorities emphasized that being named does not imply guilt, noting the files contain many unverified statements and heavily redacted records.
The disclosure reportedly includes 2,000 videos and 180,000 images, though no charges have been brought against the footballer.
Public scrutiny has intensified due to Ribery’s 2010 legal case, which was dismissed in 2014.
Legal experts state: “Such releases often include raw and untested claims gathered during investigations that never result in formal action.” Currently, US authorities indicate no pending legal action against Ribery.
