Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus has reportedly informed Arsenal of his desire to sign a new contract and remain at the Emirates Stadium, despite persistent speculation linking him with a move to Italy or a return to South America.
Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus has made his future intentions clear, prioritizing a contract renewal with the Gunners over a summer departure.
While AC Milan and Palmeiras have been linked with the 28-year-old, journalist Bruno Andrade reports that Jesus is settled in London.
Andrade noted, “His intention is a renewal. Arsenal, for now, haven’t called him to talk, they haven’t given him an idea.”
Despite a season hampered by injuries, Jesus remains a key tactical component for Mikel Arteta.
Should an extension fail to materialize, the striker’s backup plan is to stay within the English top flight.
Andrade added, “If he leaves Arsenal, the priority is English football, the Premier League.” With his current deal expiring in 2027, the ball is now in Arsenal’s court.
