Galatasaray stars Noa Lang and Victor Osimhen are facing spells on the sidelines after sustaining serious injuries during their 4-0 Champions League defeat at Anfield.
Galatasaray’s Champions League exit was compounded by serious injuries to key attackers Noa Lang and Victor Osimhen.
Lang suffered a “serious cut to his right thumb” after colliding with advertising boards and will undergo surgery in Liverpool.
Meanwhile, talismanic striker Victor Osimhen sustained a fractured forearm during the first half. The Turkish giants confirmed a decision regarding the striker’s potential surgery will be made shortly.
The club provided clarity on Lang’s condition via an official statement, noting it is “planned for him to undergo surgery in Liverpool in the coming hours.”
Regarding Osimhen, medical checks revealed a “fracture in our player’s right forearm,” which has already been casted.
These setbacks leave manager Okan Buruk with significant selection headaches as the club shifts its focus back to the Turkish Super Lig.
