Sunderland captain Grant Xhaka, speaking to Sky Sports: “In the end, of course, you want to win games but we need to see the reality as well. We just came up to the Premier League after so many years and we had a couple of changes in the team. Nearly 15/16 new players and it’s not always easy to get so quick together.
“It’s just the energy, our dressing room is so positive. We have such good energy with the staff, with the players. In the end, the results speak for ourselves because we are putting a lot of effort day by day, week by week. I think we can be very happy for the moment after the first round.”
