Inter Miami are exploring the possibility of reuniting Neymar with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez for a final playing spell together in Major League Soccer.
Inter Miami are reportedly considering a sensational move to reunite Neymar with his former Barcelona teammates Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez in Major League Soccer. The trio, who scored a combined 364 goals and 173 assists for Barcelona between 2014 and 2017, could be set for one final chapter together in the United States. Neymar, 33, is currently with Santos until December after leaving Al Ittihad, but will be free to negotiate a move by year’s end.
Miami are losing veterans Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets to retirement but are strengthening with new signings including Sergio Reguilon. “Neymar’s representatives recognize there is potential value, on and off the pitch,” reports suggest, particularly in a World Cup year. Miami are also working on new deals for Messi and Suarez, both 38, as they push for MLS Cup glory. Messi leads the Golden Boot race with 24 goals ahead of the club’s final two regular-season games.
