Inter Milan block late bid for Davide Frattesi

Inter Milan have rebuffed a €30m loan-to-buy offer from Lazio for Davide Frattesi, ending the capital club’s hopes of a late deadline-day “homecoming” for the midfielder.

Inter Milan have reportedly rejected a €30m approach from Lazio for midfielder Davide Frattesi in the final hours of the January window.

The Biancocelesti proposed a loan deal with a conditional obligation to buy, hoping to lure the Roman-born player back to his boyhood club.

However, the Nerazzurri have maintained a firm stance that the Italian international is not for sale this month.

The rejection follows previous interest from Nottingham Forest, which also failed to materialize. Inter’s refusal to sanction a move stems from their inability to secure a suitable replacement before the deadline.

Despite the significant offer, Frattesi is set to remain at the San Siro as a vital part of Simone Inzaghi’s squad for the remainder of the 2025/26 campaign.
