Kane and Bayern primed for another Klassiker showdown

As Bayern Munich gear up to host Borussia Dortmund in the latest edition of Der Klassiker, questions loom over whether the Ruhr side can derail Bayern’s imperious form.

According to a Forbes preview, while “stopping Kane will be a priority for Dortmund, but it won’t be enough,” the analysis notes that Bayern’s depth, with the recent addition of Luis Díaz, gives them multiple threats.

Dortmund enter the match unbeaten in both domestic and European competitions and sit four points behind Bayern in the Bundesliga standings.

Coach Niko Kovac emphasised the importance of resilience, stating: “We are solid at the moment and that is the basis if you want to have any success.”

Kovac also warned that Bayern frequently dictate games early: “Bayern win their games mostly in the first half. So it’s about keeping the game open for as long as possible.”

With six of their next seven matches away from home and a tough Champions League schedule looming, Dortmund must treat this as both opportunity and test.

For Bayern, maintaining a perfect record is within reach. But Dortmund, with growing confidence, aim to become the first side to crack their streak. The clash offers more than three points, it could shape the title race.
