The official Bundesliga report predicts Bayern Munich will beat Arsenal in their Champions League clash, citing the team’s unbeaten 18-game run, their favorable historical record against the Gunners, and the threat posed by North London derby record scorer Harry Kane.
According to a report from Bundesliga.com, Bayern Munich are “quietly confident” of securing another UEFA Champions League victory against Arsenal, backing them to extend their 100 percent record in the competition this season.
The report highlights several factors favoring Vincent Kompany’s side, including the club’s historical dominance over the Gunners, which stands at eight wins and three draws in 14 European meetings.
As recently as the 2023/24 quarter-finals, Bayern drew 2-2 at the Emirates before winning the return fixture.
Central to Bayern’s confidence is striker Harry Kane, who is described as the “North London specialist.” Kane has a staggering record against Arsenal, including 15 goals in 21 games for Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern, making him the record scorer in North London derbies with 14 goals during his Spurs tenure.
The 32-year-old England international has also posted “similarly eye-watering numbers so far this season,” with five goals in the Champions League and a goal every 0.75 games across all 18 appearances.
Current form also firmly favors the Bavarians, who are unbeaten in 18 games in all competitions in 2025/26, a streak that includes a 16-game winning run—a European record.
Bayern captain Manuel Neuer emphasized the team’s current stability, saying: “It takes a lot to beat us at the moment,” while midfielder Joshua Kimmich added: “The belief is always there in our minds.”
The report also notes a factor that could affect Arsenal is the absence of their star defender Gabriel, who was recently sidelined with an injury.
