The LFP has ratified a request to reschedule Paris Saint-Germain’s league match against FC Nantes to provide the reigning champions more preparation time for their European tie.
Paris Saint-Germain’s Ligue 1 fixture against FC Nantes has been officially postponed to aid the club’s upcoming UEFA Champions League Round of 16 encounter with Chelsea.
Originally scheduled between the two knockout legs, the match will now take place during the week of April 20th.
This decision follows a formal request from PSG, which received mutual consent from Nantes and final approval from the LFP.
The rescheduling gives Luis Enrique’s side a clear window to focus on their high-stakes matches at the Parc des Princes on March 11th and Stamford Bridge on March 17th.
This marks the second consecutive season PSG has seen a domestic game moved for European commitments.
Nantes agreed to the shift, ensuring “administrative, financial and operational continuity” as the French giants pursue further continental success.
