Liam Rosenior accuses Arsenal of lacking etiquette following warm-up outburst

Liam Rosenior defended his angry pre-match confrontation with Arsenal staff, claiming the Gunners showed a lack of respect by encroaching on Chelsea’s half during their Carabao Cup warm-up.

Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior has criticized Arsenal for failing to show proper etiquette during the pre-match warm-up of Tuesday’s Carabao Cup semi-final.

Sky Sports cameras captured the Blues boss in a heated exchange at the Emirates Stadium, where he was seen shouting at the home side to return to their half.

Rosenior later clarified that his outburst was directed at staff members encroaching on Chelsea’s designated territory.

The 41-year-old emphasized that while he maintains high regard for Mikel Arteta, he felt compelled to protect his team’s preparation from outside interference.

Despite the pre-game friction, Chelsea fell to a 1-0 defeat on the night, losing 4-2 on aggregate.

Rosenior insisted his reaction was about maintaining professional standards, noting that players and coaches must respect the traditional pitch boundaries before the opening whistle
