Lille OSC has just dropped their striking third kit for the 2025/26 season, a design steeped in local history and symbolism.
The new kit pays homage to Sporting Club Fivois, one of the founding clubs that merged to create LOSC in 1944. It also draws inspiration from Lille's iconic Citadel, the 17th-century fortress that remains a landmark to this day. The deep blue base echoes the colors once worn by SC Fives, while the gold and black accents represent Flanders, the northern French region where Lille resides.
An abstract geometric print, reminiscent of the Citadel's sharp architecture, dominates the shirt's design, symbolizing strength and resilience. This theme extends to the club's crest, with the five-sided badge mirroring the fortress's pentagonal structure.
Kenny McCallum, Senior Director of New Balance Football Product, stated that the kit embodies the spirit of Lille, connecting the club's heritage with the tenacity of the Dogues. As Lille transitions into a new era, the new kit hopes to embody the quality of resilience.
The LOSC Lille 2025/26 third shirt is currently available for purchase via New Balance and select global retailers. It's more than just a jersey; it's a piece of Lille's history.
