Liverpool and Adidas have launched their 2025-26 kits, marking the beginning of a new 10 year partnership. The kits feature classic designs with tributes to the Hillsborough victims and Diogo Jota.
Liverpool Football Club and Adidas are reigniting their historic partnership with the reveal of the 2025-26 home and away kits. This marks the third chapter in a collaboration that has already delivered iconic moments and legendary designs.
After spells with New Balance and Nike, the Reds are returning to the familiar embrace of the three stripes, recalling their initial Adidas era from 1985-1996 and a subsequent run from 2006-2012. These previous partnerships yielded significant silverware, including three top-flight titles and three FA Cups, fueling hopes that this reunion will be equally triumphant.
The home kit stays true to Liverpool's identity, featuring a vibrant all-red design. Crisp white Adidas stripes adorn the sleeves, complementing a modern crew-neck collar for a clean and classic aesthetic that immediately identifies the wearer as a Liverpool supporter.
The away kit offers a stylish nod to the club's past, presenting an off-white base accented by bold black and red detailing. The Liver Bird crest is enclosed within a shield, a subtle homage to the iconic Main Stand at Anfield, which has stood since 1906.
Both kits pay tribute to the victims of the Hillsborough disaster, with the '97' emblem, surrounded by eternal flames, displayed at the nape of the neck. This poignant detail serves as a constant reminder of the club's deep connection to its community and its commitment to honoring the memory of those who were lost.
Fans have the opportunity to honor Diogo Jota by including "Diogo J. 20" on their shirts. Proceeds from these sales will be donated to the LFC Foundation, which will launch a grassroots football program in Jota's name, paying tribute to the forward's contributions to the club after his passing in July.
Ben Latty, LFC's Chief Commercial Officer, emphasized the significance of the launch, stating, "This is more than just the launch of a new kit – it marks the beginning of a 10-year relationship for LFC and Adidas. Since announcing the partnership in March, there’s been a huge sense of anticipation and excitement. This first collection sets the tone for seasons to come."
The new home kit was unveiled during a pre-season match against Athletic Club at Anfield. The away kit is set to debut in the FA Community Shield against Crystal Palace on August 10. Both kits are now available for purchase.
