Arne Slot faces intense scrutiny and growing pressure due to the club’s abysmal start to the season, with pundits questioning his ability to reverse their alarming slide in form.
Liverpool’s reigning Premier League champions status is being tested as they continue a “dismal slump,” having suffered a 3-0 home defeat to relegation battlers Nottingham Forest on Saturday, according to a report from the Liverpool Echo.
This result continues a “nightmare run,” leaving Arne Slot’s team, who previously lost 3-0 to Manchester City, with six defeats in their last seven matches across all competitions.
The team now sits 11th in the top-flight table and could fall 11 points behind leaders Arsenal if the Gunners secure a win on Sunday.
