Ademola Lookman draws strong interest from Turkish giants

Ademola Lookman is a key player to watch this transfer window, with Turkish powerhouses Fenerbahce and Galatasaray showing strong interest, though Atalanta is currently postponing any transfer evaluation.

According to a report from Football Italia, Turkish giants Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray are both pursuing Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman.

The interest comes amid continued speculation about Lookman’s future, after he submitted a formal transfer request following a rejected €45 million bid from Inter.

Fenerbahçe have reportedly tabled a four-year contract offer worth around €6 million per season in wages.

However, as of now, no deal has been reached with either Lookman or his current club, Atalanta.

On Galatasaray’s side, reports say that Victor Osimhen is attempting to persuade his Nigeria international teammate to join him in Istanbul from January 2026.

According to NOW Spor, Lookman has responded positively to the proposal and is keen to reunite with Osimhen.

Atalanta, meanwhile, are understood to value Lookman at about €50 million.

His contract with the Italian club runs through June 2027, giving the Nerazzurri a strong negotiating position.

If a move to Turkey materializes, it would reflect a bold push by both Super Lig clubs to land a high-profile winger amid their ambitious January window plans.
