Manchester United’s Jack Fletcher has received a six-game ban from the FA for using an anti-gay slur during a match against Barnsley. Fletcher has apologized, stating he did not intend the term as a homophobic insult, and will undergo further training on inclusive language. The club and United’s LGBTQ+ supporters’ group have welcomed the apology.
