Manchester United have received a timely injury boost with defender Matthijs de Ligt expected to return for Monday’s Premier League clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Dutchman missed the recent 1-1 draw with West Ham United due to a knock but is set to feature at Molineux.
However, fellow defender Harry Maguire remains unavailable as he recovers from a hamstring problem. Diogo Dalot, who picked up a minor knock against West Ham, is also anticipated to be fit for the trip as United look to close the two-point gap to the Champions League places.
