Allegri after Milan 3-2 Torino: ‘Fullkrug needs consistency, Pavlovic has improved a lot’
AC Milan kept their Serie A title hopes alive with a narrow 3-2 victory over Torino, prompting manager Massimiliano Allegri to praise the development of goalscorer Strahinja Pavlovic and the resilience of his squad. Massimiliano Allegri hailed AC Milan’s character following a vital 3-2 win against Torino at the San Siro. Despite recent setbacks against Parma and Lazio, the Rossoneri secured three points to maintain pressure on league leaders Inter. Allegri singled out defender Strahinja Pavlovic for his significant growth and spectacular long-range goal, stating, “He played a great match tonight, he has improved a lot.” The manager also defended striker Niklas Fullkrug’s performance, noting that a lack of consistent minutes has affected the German’s physical rhythm. Tactically, Allegri credited Christian Pulisic’s introduction for breaking down Torino’s compact defense. Reflecting on his animated touchline behavior, Allegri joked about his exchange with the referee: “I am getting on in years and I would not want my heart to give out.” -

Former Napoli player claims Conte’s training methods to blame for injuries crisis
Club legend Alessandro Renica has sparked controversy by claiming Antonio Conte’s grueling “dry work” training sessions are directly responsible for the muscular injuries currently sidelining several key Napoli stars.
Former Napoli defender Alessandro Renica has attributed the club’s extensive injury list to Antonio Conte’s demanding training regime.
Speaking on Stile TV, Renica argued that the coach’s physical demands have overwhelmed the squad, leading to frequent muscular setbacks for stars like Kevin De Bruyne and Amir Rrahmani.
He noted that De Bruyne reportedly “never ran as much” in a decade at Manchester City as he has recently.
While praising Conte’s tactical brilliance, Renica called the trainer’s rigid physical methodology a “genuine limitation” following Napoli’s Champions League group stage exit.
He warned that excessive training stresses muscles, stating: “I have my coaching badge and have tried both methodologies, but when I worked with heavy dry training I had a lot of muscular problems.”
With eight players sidelined, Renica believes the season’s potential is being squandered.
