N’Golo Kanté has reportedly boycotted Al-Ittihad training to force a transfer to Fenerbahçe, leaving the Saudi club in a deepening crisis.
N’Golo Kanté has escalated his transfer standoff by refusing to attend Al-Ittihad’s training session today. The French midfielder is reportedly “pushing to join Fenerbahçe” before the window closes.
His defiance comes at a critical time for the Tigers, who are already reeling from the failed pursuit of Gustavo Sa. The loss of such a pivotal figure would severely weaken their remaining midfield core.
The situation is increasingly dire for Al-Ittihad, who recently saw superstar Karim Benzema join rivals Al-Hilal.
Since the club cannot make any new additions at this stage, losing Kanté would leave a massive void in the squad.
Management now faces a difficult choice between keeping an unhappy player or losing a world-class talent they simply cannot replace before the season progresses further.
