Addressing persistent rumors during a Snapchat Q&A on Good Friday, the 30-year-old Ivorian international expressed visible frustration over public speculation.
Pépé clarified his status to fans, stating, “Well let’s be clear, I’ve never mentioned marriage with anyone I don’t know where this rumor comes from.”
The former Arsenal star further distanced himself from claims of a proposal or financial dependency in a follow-up post.
Explaining his current situation, he wrote: ”Okay, instead of asking me questions, I’ll answer them.
Basically, I’m single now, l’ve never talked about marriage, and even less about giving money to anyone. Please stop talking nonsense.”
