Nottingham Forest consider Sean Dyche as possible replacement for Postecoglou

Nottingham Forest are weighing up Sean Dyche as Ange Postecoglou struggles to secure his first win amid growing pressure.

Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis is reportedly considering Sean Dyche as the leading candidate to replace under-pressure manager Ange Postecoglou.

Postecoglou, who replaced Nuno Espirito Santo after his early-season dismissal, is yet to secure a win in seven games since taking charge. Despite leading Tottenham to Europa League glory in May, his Forest side sit 17th in the Premier League, just above the relegation zone, and are without a victory in Europe this term.

Dyche, who resides in Nottingham and is currently without a club after leaving Everton, is seen as a strong fit. Fulham’s Marco Silva and former Forest boss Steve Cooper are also options, though compensation and availability could pose challenges.

Forest’s recent loss to Newcastle intensified scrutiny, with fans chanting “You’re getting sacked in the morning.” Postecoglou, however, remains defiant: “It doesn’t deter me at all… I still believe we’ve got a great opportunity to do great things.”

The Australian may need a result against Chelsea next weekend to keep his job.
