Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was asked about Ethan Nwaneri not starting many games:
“[He has been] preparing in the best possible way. His attitude has been excellent. And when he has got the chance to play he has proved I am wrong and that he needs to play more minutes and help the team as much as possible.
“Ethan’s attitude on that [asking to play in a friendly match] was excellent.”
