Despite previously claiming “if we drop points, it will be over,” the Spaniard struck a defiant tone after former Gunner Konstantinos Mavropanos canceled out Bernardo Silva’s opener.
“No, it’s not over. We didn’t lose. We continue,” Guardiola told TNT Sports from the stands.
City’s recent dip coincides with a goal drought for Erling Haaland, who missed several key chances in London.
Guardiola admitted the team’s reliance on the Norwegian, stating, “Erling, we need his goals… He will be back.”
The champions now face a pivotal week, hosting Real Madrid in the Champions League before meeting Arsenal at Wembley for the Carabao Cup final.
