Joe Hart has downplayed rumors of Pep Guardiola’s imminent departure, insisting the manager is solely committed to Manchester City’s pursuit of a historic quadruple this season.
Former Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart believes Pep Guardiola remains entirely focused on securing silverware despite growing speculation regarding his future.
With Guardiola’s contract expiring in 2027, Hart suggested the manager might even transition into a directorial role.
“I don’t think, if and when he leaves Manchester City, it’ll be necessary to be on the move [elsewhere],” Hart told the Manchester Evening News.
Currently trailing Arsenal in the Premier League, City face a grueling schedule across four competitions, including a Champions League showdown with Real Madrid.
Guardiola has emphasized mental fortitude over tactical adjustments during this clinical stretch.
“In my point of view now it is how it is in your brain and your mind will make the difference,” the manager stated, prioritizing rest and focus.
