High-profile agent Pini Zahavi has arrived in Barcelona to discuss the futures of manager Hansi Flick and striker Robert Lewandowski ahead of tonight’s Champions League quarter-final.
Super-agent Pini Zahavi is in Barcelona to attend tonight’s quarter-final clash against Atlético Madrid. His visit serves a dual purpose, as he is scheduled to meet with both Hansi Flick and Robert Lewandowski.
While the club is eager to extend Flick’s current deal, the manager notoriously prefers short-term agreements.
Zahavi aims to align the coach’s vision with the board’s proposals before formalizing any negotiations.
Robert Lewandowski’s future is also a primary concern, with his contract set to expire this June.
Despite lucrative interest from Saudi Arabia and the MLS, the veteran striker reportedly wishes to remain at the Spotify Camp Nou.
Lewandowski is even open to a salary reduction to facilitate a renewal, but he requires “clarity on the club’s intentions” before committing to a final decision.
