Chelsea cruised into the FA Cup semi-finals with a dominant 7-0 victory over League Two side Port Vale at Stamford Bridge, featuring seven different goalscorers and a debut for academy prospect Ryan Kavuma-McQueen.
The Blues secured their passage to Wembley with a professional, if low-tempo, demolition of the third-division visitors. Jorrel Hato ignited the scoring within sixty seconds, followed by a composed finish from João Pedro.
A flowing team move culminated in an own goal forced by Cole Palmer to make it three before the break.
The floodgates opened further in the second half as Tosin, Andrey Santos, Estêvão, and Alejandro Garnacho all found the net to complete the rout.
While the football was often played at a walking pace, the result provided a much-needed clean sheet and a chance to blood young talent.
Suspended midfielder Enzo Fernández watched from behind the dugout as his teammates made light work of the opposition.
With a place in the semi-finals secured, Chelsea’s attention now shifts back to the Premier League and a high-stakes encounter against Manchester City next Sunday.
Chelsea Player Ratings
Filip Jörgensen: 7
The goalkeeper enjoyed one of the quietest afternoons of his career, remaining largely a spectator. However, he stayed focused to claim crosses when required and secured a rare, confidence-boosting clean sheet for the backline.
Malo Gusto: 8
A standout performance from the Frenchman, who set-up the fourth goals and played an important role in the third, while also putting in and impressive shift defensively.
Wesley Fofana: 7
Playing in a makeshift right-back role, the Frenchman looked physically dominant and comfortable. He spent most of the match in the opposition half, providing support for the attack and celebrating the opening goal with Hato.
Tosin Adarabioyo: 8
A commanding presence at the heart of the defense, he snuffed out any rare Port Vale forays with ease. He capped off a solid defensive display by rising highest to head home Chelsea’s fourth goal in the second half.
Jorrel Hato: 9
The young defender set the tone immediately, reacting quickest to a loose ball in a crowded box to score within the first minute. It was his second goal of the campaign, highlighting his growing importance to Rosenior’s tactical setup.
Marc Cucurella: 7
A steady performance from the Spaniard, who linked up well with the midfield and kept his flank secure. He was seen sharing a light-hearted moment with the suspended Enzo Fernández before kick-off, reflecting a relaxed atmosphere.
Andrey Santos: 8
The Brazilian controlled the tempo of the game from deep, recycling possession effortlessly against the tiring visitors. He was rewarded for his industry with a well-taken goal, further cementing his place in the starting XI.
Cole Palmer: 8
Although the third goal was officially recorded as an own goal, Palmer was the architect of the move. His vision and “ice-cold” presence in the final third remains Chelsea’s most potent creative weapon.
Pedro Neto: 8
Very bright on the right and a constant threat in his 60 minutes show, setting up Joao Pedro’s goal with a well placed low cross after beating a defender in a duel.
João Pedro: 8
Displayed great maturity and composure for Chelsea’s second goal, refusing to rush his finish despite the sea of bodies. He flourished in the pockets of space afforded to him by a retreating Port Vale defense.
Estêvão Willian: 8
The teenage sensation continued to dazzle with his quick feet and direct running. He remained a constant thorn in the side of the opposition and thoroughly deserved his goal during the second-half scoring spree.

Alejandro Garnacho: 8
His pace and trickery were far too much for the Port Vale defenders to handle. After several near misses, he finally got his name on the scoresheet to put the finishing touches on a dominant team performance.

The 17-year-old made a memorable debut off the bench, showing flashes of the talent that has seen him fast-tracked to the senior squad. His introduction was the highlight of the final half-hour for the home supporters.
