The Italian shot-stopper will be frustrated with his attempt to keep out Szoboszlai’s opening free-kick, which seemed preventable. His distribution remained inconsistent throughout the afternoon, though he deserves credit for the direct long ball that eventually initiated the sequence for the equalizing goal.
Pedro Porro – 5/10
It was a long afternoon for the Spaniard, who found himself frequently exposed by the electric pace of 17-year-old Rio Ngumoha. Porro struggled to contain the youngster’s dribbling and spent the majority of the match on the back foot, offering very little of his trademark offensive support.

Sarr was the engine in the Spurs midfield, covering immense ground and utilizing his physical strength to disrupt Liverpool’s rhythm. He was also the most reliable link in transition, finishing the match with the highest number of completed passes among his teammates.
Souza – 6/10
Handed a surprising role as a right-sided midfielder despite his natural left-back tendencies, the youngster put in a shift of pure effort. Although he was the culprit for the foul that led to Liverpool’s opener, he settled down to provide a stable defensive presence on the wing.
Mathys Tel – 6/10
Until his withdrawal in the 74th minute, Tel was Tottenham’s primary source of invention. He showed great ball-carrying ability to relieve pressure on his defenders and managed to carve out a few decent openings for his strike partner before running out of steam.

The hero of the hour. While he was guilty of missing several earlier opportunities to score, the Brazilian showed elite composure to slot home the 89th-minute equalizer. It was a tireless performance that could prove to be a landmark moment in Spurs’ fight against the drop.
Dominic Solanke – 5/10
Isolated for the vast majority of the game, Solanke was forced to perform more as a defensive auxiliary than a focal point. His lack of impact was highlighted by a solitary touch inside the Liverpool penalty area, reflecting Spurs’ deep-lying tactical approach.
