Visit Qatar has extended its long-running commercial partnership with Paris Saint-Germain through 2028, ensuring it remains a premium partner to promote Qatar as a global destination.
Paris Saint-Germain and Visit Qatar have agreed to extend their commercial partnership through to the end of 2028.
This renewal further entrenches a relationship that has run since the 2012/13 season, ranking as one of the longest state-linked sponsorships in European club football.
Visit Qatar will continue as a premium partner for PSG’s men’s and women’s football teams and its handball operation.
The extension was announced in Doha alongside the opening of the Ici C’est Paris Park, utilizing a large-scale event for promotion.
Richard Heaselgrave, PSG’s Chief Revenue Officer, said the renewal reflects confidence in the deal’s future:
“Over more than a decade, this partnership has grown into one of our most meaningful and enduring collaborations, and its renewal reflects our confidence in its long-term potential.”
Abdulaziz Ali Al-Mawlawi, CEO of Visit Qatar, noted the deal’s cultural reach, stating, “Together, we have built a relationship that goes beyond sport, one that reflects shared values of creativity, excellence and global connectivity.”
The partnership has previously leveraged players and content to position Qatar as a travel hub. The financial terms of the renewed agreement were not disclosed.
