Rangers have traveled to Spain for a five-day mid-season training camp, with manager Danny Röhl utilizing a strategy he previously saw succeed at Bayern Munich to bolster team spirit and tactical focus.
Rangers began a five-day training camp in Spain today, taking advantage of a free weekend following their Scottish Cup exit.
Manager Danny Röhl is using the break to accelerate tactical work and squad bonding ahead of the Premiership split.
Club leadership will join the camp to advance summer transfer plans, while the team also hopes to organize a friendly match later this week.
Röhl cited his time as Bayern Munich’s assistant as inspiration for the trip, noting how a similar break in Portugal preceded their 2020 Champions League title.
He believes the secluded environment is vital for focus, stating, “I’m totally convinced that it’s a great environment to get three or four days together.”
Rangers currently sit just one point off the top of the table.
